Access Point

We’re working to make sure our events are as accessible as possible. Within the venue itself, there will be an accessiblity access point in the Main Hall. If you have any needs at all we can help you with, please find our team there throughout the festival.

Feedback

Our festival is new and we want to hear what you think. You can send general notes and queries to info@pushtheboatout.org or fill out a quick survey here. The one available at present is about our website and ticketing info. Thrilling stuff! But you’ll be helping us, and our audiences, out.

Sound and Vision: Sound

An immersive soundscape of poetry awaits in the Old Lab, Summerhall. Escape all those noisy chattering poets and sit quietly in the dark and absorb some of the sounds of the most iconic poetry audio from the last 60 years. Free, unticketed, throughout the Festival.

Remote Access

We’ll be streaming some events live from Summerhall, and releasing some events shortly after the festival has concluded. A further set will be edited into podcasts and released in the weeks and months following PTBO. Where events will be livestreamed, this information will appear in the copy for the events themselves; we will also publish a specifically online schedule soon. Check back here for updates.
