Liz Niven is an award-winning Scottish poet. A former teacher and Cultural Co-ordinator, she has facilitated poetry sessions to Scottish Poetry Library, London Poetry Society, Galleries and Museums. Her collections include: Stravaigin, Burning Whins, The Shard Box (Luath Press, Edinburgh) and she has collaborated with artists in a variety of media including public art works in stone and wood. She has written a wide range of Scots education resources and is the author of Scots Dossier for European Bureau of Minority Languages. Her awards include McCash poetry prize, Saltire/TESS. She is an Honorary Fellow of the Association of Scottish Literary Studies.
